The latest addition to the collection of Shopify themes is called Showroom and comes straight to you from the jaded Pixel labs. It is now available to all Shopify users.

It has never been easier or faster to have your own online store that features the latest in web technology like AJAX. You read right: users can add products to their cart without any page reloading whatsoever.

The customer can proceed directly to the checkout with a single click – bypassing the cart screen entirely. Showtime also introduces collection descriptions which allow you to display text & images related to an entire collection.

We set up a demonstration store called Fashionable Hats so that you can see Showroom live in action.

Vitor M. Costa WOW, great job guys, as usual. Looking forward to see this theme in Vision, i'm sure that more great themes will come out of this one.
Damien Buckley Great theme guys. It may be worth incorporating a more obvious option to dismiss the cart pop-up - maybe like the lightbox 'x' - it took me while to figure out the cart icon connection. Love the new lightbox implementation.
Ed I agree with above comment about the cart button. Also I found it annoying that when you close the cart, if you go to another page, the cart pops back up again. I think it would be a better option to have the navigation be if the cart is closed, it stays closed, and text tells the user how many items are in your cart and a click to show or something along those lines. Great theme though! Keep up the great work!
Doug Wonderful looking theme, but not usable until the problem mentioned by Damien (2nd comment) is addressed. Perhaps you could point us to a hack to get this functionality?
Daniel There is a "hide cart" link now. Anything could be used to close the cart. Give it an
onclick="Showroom.hideCart();return false"
If you want the cart to remember whether it should stay down or not you have to set cookies yourself and decide on load per js if it's ought to be shown.
Dane Fantastic theme Guys. But then again everything you guys seem to touch is fantastic. Just a REALLY n00b question- Is there an easier way to get showroom into vision than applying the them to my store and manually downloading the files?
Bob "If you want the cart to remember whether it should stay down or not you have to set cookies yourself and decide on load per js if it's ought to be shown." How do you do this?
